Children's University: Wings and Balance: Aerodynamics Workshop in the Discovering Generations Program!

Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 project, the “Children's University: Discovering Generations Program” was held on October 16, 2026, at Bucak Kuşbaba Primary School with children, featuring the “Wings and Balance: Aerodynamics Workshop.”

In the workshop conducted by Dr. Faculty Member Ümmühan Beste ÖN, the Head of the Transportation Services Department at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School of Transportation and Logistics, children had the opportunity to learn about the basic principles of aviation through hands-on activities while discovering how wings work and the importance of balanced flight.

We were happy to share in the excitement of exploration with children in this event that brings science together with kids, supports curiosity, and enriches learning through experience.
