“The Most Important Thing Is Invisible” The Little Prince Exhibition Hosted Its Little Guests

Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Transportation and Logistics Vocational School Child Care and Youth Services Department's Child Development Program, which is held every year, received great interest this year as well.
Lecturer Merve ALTUN conducted the exhibition prepared within the scope of the course “Art Education and Creativity in Early Childhood.” In the exhibition, students combined the theoretical knowledge they acquired throughout the semester with creative applications.
On May 13, 2026, at the Child Development Program Practice Classroom, the event presented the theme of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's unforgettable work The Little Prince through artistic works suitable for children's world. The messages of the book emphasizing love, friendship, empathy, imagination, and the child's perspective were reflected in a way suitable for children's world through the artistic works prepared by the students.
In the exhibition area, the visual designs prepared by the students, three-dimensional materials, story corners, and creative activity areas were examined with interest by the visitors. During the event, children joined the magical atmosphere of the story with the narration of the book “The Little Prince,” while enjoying fun games and interactive activities.
Students and teachers from Zübeyde Hanım Kindergarten and Provincial Services Union Kindergarten participated in the exhibition. The little guests both had fun throughout the exhibition and experienced a learning experience intertwined with art and literature.
The event aimed at supporting children's imagination, creativity, and artistic awareness during early childhood not only contributed to the professional development of the students but also received great appreciation from the little guests.
