Our Vocational School's Child Development and Public Relations and Promotion Programs organized the "Kite Festival," which became one of the successful examples of university-community collaboration while contributing to children's social development. The event was held with the support provided within the scope of ANSİAD's social responsibility campaign.

At the event held at İncirhan Recreation Area, children, students, and academicians came together in a social responsibility organization that witnessed colorful and meaningful moments. While the event aimed to support children's social, emotional, and communication skills, it also contributed to the development of the culture of sharing, acting together, and social interaction.

The event was supported within the scope of the social responsibility campaign conducted by Antalya Industrialists and Business People Association (ANSİAD) Chairman of the Board Ercan Özbek, High Advisory Board Member Işık Yargın, and Social Responsibility Working Desk Chairman Orhan Şenoğlu. This support constituted an important example of transforming the collaboration between the university and non-governmental organizations into social benefit.

The festival was contributed to as stakeholders by Bucak Vilayetler Hizmet Birliği Kindergarten, Bucak Zübeyde Hanım Kindergarten, Bucak TOBB Kindergarten, and Oğuzhan Girls Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The organization, carried out with the joint participation of different educational institutions, contributed to strengthening inter-institutional solidarity and common social responsibility awareness.

In the event where Child Development program students organized face painting and balloon twisting activities, a book reading event was also held by author Burcu BAHAR for kindergarten students. In the event, which attracted great interest from children, it was aimed to instill a love of books at an early age, support imagination, and encourage reading habits. Author Burcu Bahar came together with the children interactively, providing enjoyable and educational moments.

At the end of the event, a cleaning activity was carried out at İncirhan Recreation Area by students and academic staff. Within the scope of the activity, which was conducted to draw attention to nature and environmental awareness, participants collected waste in the area, supporting the social responsibility activity with an environmental awareness dimension. Thus, the event contributed not only to children's social development but also to strengthening sustainable environmental awareness.

With the mission of contributing to society from universal knowledge and acting in collaboration, our vocational school's Child Development and Public Relations and Promotion program academic staff emphasized that universities are not only institutions that produce academic knowledge but also structures that contribute to social development, stating that similar social responsibility projects will continue sustainably.
